The story follows someone who at first seems to see some faults in their ways. At first there is the feeling of regret but that turns into a frustrating conclusion-that they haven't moved passed it all. As response to that there's the melodramatic attempts at letting go. Witch leads to them bursting, finally showing their raw feelings..
This song is one of the very first songs we wrote together. We wrote it during our park jam sessions back in 2014. At the time, the song was meant to become a 'summer song 'hence the beat before the bridge. But as time went by the music and lyrics changed so many times untill we felt satisfied. The final lyrics for it were co-written by singer Hubert Tuyishime and drummer Snehan Stoffelen.

lyrics
Mothers Child
All my life i spend it on my mothers house
And all my days i spent it on my mothers side
And all my time, i should've stayed a little longer
And all my life i should've shown you the world
Take you to all the places we haven't seen
All my time, i should've stayed a little longer
(bridge)
Maybe i should go for a run
But I'd probably end up alone
Maybe i should write books and poems about your face
But the stories remind me of you
Memories of yesterday remind me of the promises of tomorrow
But, all you left me with, darling,
is that you left me with no heart
x5 Oh you left me with no heart, you left me with no heart
